As a student initiative at the University of Mannheim, STADS unites motivated students with strong analytical and quantitative backgrounds and a shared passion for Data Science. 

We connect academia and industry by working on real-world projects, offering students hands-on experience while delivering valuable insights to our partners. 

Through workshops, events, and close collaboration, we aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice — fostering the next generation of data-driven talent.

Lecture

Show a broad audience of quantitative STEM talents the problems you solve in your company or present exciting technologies. We will take care of the organization and ensure that everything runs smoothly. We are happy to plan a get-together after the presentation, where further discussions can be held and contacts made.

Workshop

Organize an exclusive workshop with STADS and inspire selected quantitative STEM talents for your company. We ensure the smooth organization and implementation of the half-day or full-day event and are also happy to plan an attractive evening program during which discussions can be deepened and contacts made.

Datathon

Benefit from the creativity and knowledge of selected quantitative STEM talents. You present your challenges, which are then worked on by interdisciplinary student teams. In this way, you give the participants insight into your working world and inspire them to work for your company.
